The Development Law is the most important financial tool that utilizes national resources to support businesses operating in the Greek territory. The current AN 4887/22 with its amendment dated 02/06/2025 (Law 5203/25), now includes 12, new or redefined, thematic regimes, in order to cover the wide range of Greek activity, emphasizing cutting-edge sectors and sectors of strategic importance for the country. At the same time, the amendment to the law improves the evaluation and control procedures and, where appropriate, provides incentives to accelerate licensing to facilitate the implementation of investments.
