Investments for the modernization and construction of greenhouses and accessible plant production shelters – Intervention Π3-73-2.9
Objective of the Scheme
The intervention aims to:
- Improving the economic efficiency of agricultural holdings and facilitating the restructuring and modernization of crop production, in order to increase participation and market orientation by shifting to higher value-added crops and reducing production costs.
- Improving the competitiveness of sustainable Greek farms through increased investments in the creation of greenhouse facilities with the aim of increasing the overall productivity of the farm (increasing capital, labor, soil productivity).
- Improving the competitiveness of sustainable Greek farms through strengthening investments in automation, digitalization and the implementation of precision agriculture systems.
- Establishment of agricultural holdings with the aim of modernizing the cultivation of horticultural crops while simultaneously shifting to higher value-added cultivation practices through increasing the productivity of the cultivation method and reducing inputs.

Beneficiaries of the aid are:
- natural persons up to 63 years of age, registered in the register and with an admissible Single Application for Support for 2024,
- legal entities registered with the General Registry of Companies, including in their statutes the activity of practicing agriculture and with a duration of at least 5 years from the completion of the investment,
- collective schemes such as producer groups, producer organizations, agricultural cooperatives and their associations and KOINSEP with registration in the relevant register and average profitability and average turnover of over €60,000 in the last 3 years prior to the year of submission
who will meet all the requirements according to the relevant invitation.

- Construction, expansion and modernization of agricultural structures (greenhouses, warehouses, surrounding areas, etc.)
- Purchase of land under conditions
- Purchase, transportation and installation of new mechanical and other equipment
- Purchase, transport and installation of perennial plantations under certain conditions
- Purchase of a new car with a refrigerated compartment to service a flower production farm, which is produced exclusively within the premises
- Purchase and installation of computer and farm management software, communications and office equipment
- Investments that contribute to the utilization of RES
- General expenses, which include any expense of receiving services directly related to the implementation of the investment plan.
