The main objectives of the Program are to increase the energy efficiency of buildings and their processes in accordance with the objectives set out in the National Energy Policy, to save financial resources from reducing energy consumption and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. On the one hand, the use of highly energy-efficient equipment is expected to significantly reduce the average energy cost of the Greek company. On the other hand, the lower demand for electricity also implies lower production from fossil fuels or non-renewable sources. It is noted that the objective of the program (whose compliance is necessary) is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and specifically carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) by an average of 30%.
