Beneficiaries under this call are new and start-up, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which meet all the participation requirements described in the Detailed Call for Proposals and intend to implement an investment project in the Region of Thessaly, which concerns at least one eligible investment KAU included in ANNEX III "SELECTED ACTIVITIES (KAU)" of the Detailed Call for Proposals:

• The term 'in the process of being set up' refers to enterprises that will be set up after the online submission of the application for funding under this action.
• For the purposes of this call, new companies are defined as companies that have started business at the competent tax office from 1/1/2023 onwards.

1. Submit a single application for funding per taxpayer identification number (new businesses).
2. The potential beneficiary :
   I. has not started business at the competent tax office before the final submission of the application for funding (business in formation),
   II. has commenced business at the competent tax office from 01/01/2023 onwards (new business).
3.  The same investing entity (partner/shareholder/enterprise) must not participate in more than one (1) investment project involving an enterprise under establishment.
4. Be active or operate in the Greek territory and invest exclusively within the Region of Thessaly.
5. The proposed investment project must relate to at least one of the eligible sectors listed in Annex III: OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (sectors) to this Decision, in which the beneficiaries must have been active at the latest by the date of submission of the first request for payment of the grant (including the advance payment).
6. The amount of the subsidised budget of the investment project must be greater than or equal to the threshold set out in section 6.3.
7. Provide evidence of the availability of funds, documenting that at least 25% of the total costs of the investment project can be covered.
8. Other conditions, such as meeting SME size, compliance with De Minimis cumulation, application of the institutional framework, etc., which are described in detail in the relevant call.
