The action "Supporting investment plans of new and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises to promote the production of energy from renewable sources, renewable hydrogen and high-efficiency cogeneration in areas of Territorial Just Transition Plans of the Region of Western Macedonia & Megalopolis" aims to support investment plans of small and medium-sized enterprises, which will be implemented in the areas of the Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTPs) of Western Macedonia and Megalopolis, in order to address the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of delignitization and to support their transition to a climate-neutral economy and a balanced and sustainable development. The action is funded by the "Just Development Transition" Program of the NSRF 2021-2027 within the framework of Priority 1: "Strengthening and promoting entrepreneurship" and supports productive investments to promote energy production from renewable sources (except photovoltaic and wind farms), renewable hydrogen and high-efficiency cogeneration in the E.S.D.I.M. Region of Western Macedonia and Megalopolis.
New and newly established very small, Small and Medium Enterprises, as defined in Annex I of EU Regulation 651/2014, are eligible to participate and will implement an investment plan related to at least one of the eligible activities included in ANNEX II "ELIGIBLE AREAS OF ACTIVITY (SACE).
• Under establishment refers to businesses that will be established after the electronic submission of the funding application.
• New businesses are understood to be those that have started after 1/1/2023.
• Investment costs in renewable energy production, including heat pumps complying with Annex VII of Directive 2018/2001, renewable hydrogen and high-efficiency cogeneration from renewable energy sources
• Other expenses of article 41 not covered by the previous category of expenses.
